I. Treatment of protective film

In the installed module finished surface affixed with a protective film, in order to prevent in the assembly to tarnish the display surface, so before the end of the machine assembly should not be removed, so as to avoid staining or damage to the display surface.

Second, the filling liner

Between the module and the front panel it is best to add a piece of about 0.1 mm liner, the panel should also be kept flat, in order to avoid distortion after assembly.

Third, to prevent static electricity

The control in the module, the driving circuit is low voltage, micro-power CMOS circuit, very easy to be electrostatic breakdown, electrostatic breakdown is an irreversible damage, must pay attention to, not careless. Therefore, in the operation, assembly and use should be extremely careful, to prevent static electricity. This:

1, do not use the hand to promote the external line, circuit board circuit and IC;

2, the soldering iron used must be good grounding, no leakage.

3, if must touch directly, should make the human body and the module good grounding, or will hand with the faucet or the console metal box contact to discharge.

IV. Precautions during assembly operation

1, the LCD module is carefully designed and assembled, do not feel free to process, repair;

2, metal frame claw should not be free to twist, disassembly; Do not arbitrarily modify, process PCB board shape, assembly holes, lines and components; Do not modify the conductive rubber strips at will; do not touch, fall, Bend, twist the module and backlight part;

3, four installation holes must be grounded to prevent electromagnetic interference and external noise.

Five, welding, in the Welding module external line, interface circuit, the following provisions should be carried out:

1, if the LCD module and other peripheral circuit connection needs to weld or change the original connector, please confirm that the LCD module has passed the quality inspection beforehand;

2, soldering iron temperature: 280±10°c; Welding time: <3~4s, welding material: eutectic type, low melting point, repeat welding shall not exceed 3 times.

3, do not physically damage the LCD screen and PCB, otherwise it will not be repaired.

4, do not let solder drop to the LCD screen on the circuit board, otherwise the circuit will be shorted because the screen display is not normal.

VI. Use and maintenance of modules

1, LCD module of the external line should not be allowed to connect the wrong, or may cause excessive flow, over pressure on the LCD module components of the phenomenon of damage;

2. When the module uses the Access power and disconnect the power supply, the signal level must be entered after the positive power supply (5±0.25V) is stabilized. If the input signal level before or after the power supply is stabilized, it is possible to damage the IC circuit in the module.

3, Lattice LCD module display contrast, perspective and temperature, driving voltage relationship is very large, so if the vee adjustment is too high, will not only affect the display, but also shorten the service life of the module.

4, the module in the specified operating temperature range of the following use, the display response is very slow, and in the specified operating temperature range above the use of the entire display surface will show the state, this phenomenon is not damaged module, just restore to the specified temperature range, everything will return to normal. (should not be used or stored beyond the limits of storage temperature, if the temperature is lower than the crystallization temperature, the liquid crystal will crystallize, destroy the directional layer, so that the device scrap; If the temperature is too high, the liquid crystal will become isotropic liquid, lose liquid crystal State, also lose the function of LCD device. )

5, press the display position hard, will produce abnormal display. Then cut off the power, wait a moment, power again, that is, return to normal.

6, do not bump module on the back of the PCB board IC in case of adjacent pin short circuit.

7, when the screen has water droplets, to quickly wipe: long contact with water droplets will make the screen discoloration or appear spots.

8. When there is a stain on the screen, wipe it quickly with absorbent cotton or other soft cloth.

VII. Storage of modules

In the long term (such as several years) storage, we recommend the following methods:

Put in polythene pockets (preferably antistatic coating) and seal the mouth, place dark, avoid strong light, never put anything on the surface, and strictly avoid storing in the extreme temperature and humidity condition (the polarizer of liquid crystal is afraid of high temperature and damp).
